Geomorphology. 2022

Isle of Portland, UK

The process of 3D printing – depositing layer by layer – is considered analogous to the sedimentary accumulation of matter – a geological process that has unfolded for millions of years to produce the promontory of the Isle of Portland.

Thus, this landscape becomes a test bed for experimentation outputted through numerous unique material processes, constructing a new geological record of vectorised toolpaths.
